    A patch is released for this version that addresses an issue that can cause a serious performance issue for high-scale deployments. Please upgrade from Fusion 5.1.4 to 5.1.5+ as soon as possible. Contact your Customer Excellence representative if you have questions about the potential impact to your deployment.

    Bug fixes

    Fusion

    • Fixed bug that caused Spark jobs to hang.

    • Clusters upgraded to 5.1.3 had incompatible plugins in the blob store. Classic plugins installed in a previous version will be upgraded on migrations.

    • More helpful error messages from Solr are now transferred to the admin UI to make it easier to debug queries.

    Known Issues

    Fusion

    • Filters with commas in the values do not trigger rules. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.4.

    • Setting shards.preference can break Solrj load balancing under certain conditions. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.1.5 and 5.2.2.

    • The Partial Update Index Stage sets multivalued fields to an empty string instead of deleting them. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.4.

    • Pinned items can change positions when multiple rules are created. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3.

    • Applying Return Fields to a pipeline causes the specified field to appear blank. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2.

    • The Enable Recommendations feature appears in user options after initial activation, causing an API error when clicked. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2

    • The Query service returns Null Subject when sending security trimming requests from Connectors. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2.

    • Client secrets are displayed in plain text in the OpenID Connect Fusion realm configurations. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2.

    • The Schedule Status checkbox is shown as a triCheckbox instead of a normal checkbox. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2 and 5.3.

    Connectors

    • The SharePoint V2 connector shows file types and documents that should be filtered out. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3

    • Default UI field mappings for the Confluence connector cannot be disabled. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3.3 and 5.4.

    • The Confluence connector indexes file extensions that are not included as approved extensions. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3.3. and 5.4.

    • The Active Directory V2 Connector does not index users. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3.

    • Classic Connectors show blank datasource configuration fields. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2.1 and 5.3.

    • Plugin failures cause the service to go into a bad state, but no indications of errors are shown in the UI. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2.1 and 5.3.

    Predictive Merchandiser

    • Special characters cause a 400 error in the product info modal. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.3.

    • Recommendations for items are shown in the wrong order. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.2 and 5.3.

    Spark Jobs

    • Custom Spark Jobs can cause the Spark session to crash. This issue is fixed in Fusion 5.4.
