    New Features

    Fusion Connectors

    • The new Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) V2 connector has been added alongside the Fusion 5.10.0 release. The AEM V2 connector is compatible with Fusion 5.5.1 and later and works with AEM version 6.5. For more information, including configuration details, see AEM V2 Connector Configuration Reference.

    Improvements

    Fusion

    • Solr has been upgraded to 9.3.

    • The consumption dashboard now features a summary section that displays your total entitlements, requests, and records. You can also view your usage over your contract year.

    • New user roles for Fusion have been created to enhance security. Each of these roles should be combined with the developer role in order to work.

      • The spark-developer role can create, edit, and delete Spark jobs.

      • The script-developer role can create, modify, and delete JavaScript code in the querying and indexing pipelines.

      • The stage-plugin-developer role can create, edit, and delete custom index and query pipeline stages.

    • The GraalVM JavaScript stage has been added to the index and query pipelines. It is available in Nashorn compatibility mode, but full backwards compatibility is not available. The Nashorn JavaScript library is still the default option. To use the GraalVM library, select GraalVM from the Javascript engine dropdown in the Fusion UI.

This is an experimental feature and should not be used in production. Remote calls to other services are not available.

    • The Graph Security Trimming stage has new default values for aclSolrCollection, joinField, and joinMethod. Previously deprecated fields crossCollection and dvWithScore are removed.

    • Managed Fusion only: The reverse search saved-query stage now removes any partition_filter fields from saved query documents that consist of the empty string.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a bug where a non-admin user with the proper permissions could not type in the pipeline configuration source code editor.

    • Fixed a bug where the Context object used when posting each document in an array to an index pipeline was the same object.

    • Fixed a bug where asynchronous parsing was unable to push documents to Kafka when TLS is enabled.

    Removals

    • The Analytics Catalog query stage has been removed.
