Predictive Merchandiser
Hierarchical facets
Predictive Merchandiser facet zones can now use Fusion’s hierarchical facet ability. Facet zones are organized with parent and child facets, allowing for faster and easier navigation as a user goes down and up the facet structure. Fields used for hierarchical facets are split according to the delimiter set in the Apply Rules query pipeline stage.

An update to the LDAP realm expands group authorization capabilities by enabling subtree search. You can now use LDAP groups from more than one hierarchical parent.

In prior versions, certain jobs would fail if indexing was unresponsive with no clear failure reason. This release fails a job automatically after a certain period of unresponsiveness. The time to job failure is configurable. A failure reason also displays.

Previously, Fusion indexing would register index pipeline failures as negative acknowledgements. This behavior caused unexpected retries. Now after a number of retries, indexing will display a success or an error only on the last attempt.

A bug in the Fusion Index Pipeline UI covered the pipeline editing section when an index pipeline had many subscribers. This bug is fixed.

Previously, delete queries were completed individually. Delete queries are now completed in batches to improve performance.

A permissions bug in the Helm chart prevented certain roles from accessing
networking.k8s.io. This release updates the Helm chart to fix this bug.

In prior versions, stopping and starting an experiment could result in Spark parameters disappearing from the job configuration. This bug is fixed.

Due to a change in Solr, a bug sometimes caused an error to appear related to the Salesforce connector security trimming. This bug is fixed.

A bug caused a NullPointerException error in the Web V1 Connector when form authentication was configured. This bug is fixed.

A bug in the SharePoint V2 connector UI did not save the addition of SharePoint webs, lists, and libraries when including site collections. This bug is fixed.

In prior versions, large crawls with the SharePoint V2 connector would time out and fail. This bug is fixed.

In prior versions, deleting an item during a crawl before it is requested would return an empty list as the item response, potentially causing an IndexOutOfBoundsException error. This bug is fixed.
